Description

Cold Brew Coffee is a smooth, mellow, and naturally sweet iced coffee that’s brewed slowly with cold water for a rich flavor and low acidity. It’s easy to make at home and perfect for sipping all week long.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold or room temperature filtered water


Instructions

  1. In a large jar or pitcher, add coarsely ground coffee.
  2. Pour in water slowly, stirring to fully saturate the grounds.
  3. Cover and steep at room temperature or in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.
  4. Strain through a fine mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter into a clean container.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week. Dilute to taste and serve over ice.

Notes

  • Use a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio for a strong concentrate.
  • Strain twice for a cleaner, smoother finish.
  • Add spices like cinnamon or vanilla for extra flavor during steeping.
