Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the peanut butter chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use a cookie scoop for even-sized cookies.
- Chilling the dough for 30 minutes helps make thicker cookies.
- Add extra chips on top before baking for a bakery-style finish.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them soft for days.
