- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (170 grams) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (50 grams) brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until slightly foamy. Stir in granulated sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt.
- Gradually add all purpose flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan or skillet.
- Divide dough into small pieces. Toss each piece with brown sugar and semi sweet chocolate chips.
- Layer the coated dough pieces evenly in the prepared pan.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving, then pull apart and enjoy.
