Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place on baking sheets 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers look just set.
- Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Serve warm or store in an airtight container for later enjoyment.
