- 500 grams boneless chicken thigh pieces
- 120 grams plain yogurt
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 240 milliliters tomato puree
- 120 milliliters heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the frozen fries package instructions and preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, ginger, garam masala, paprika, cumin, and salt until combined. Add the chicken and coat evenly.
- Add vegetable oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
- Stir in the tomato puree and let it simmer gently for several minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Bake the fries until golden and crisp.
- Arrange the fries on a serving dish, spoon the chicken and sauce over the top, and finish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Season fries immediately after baking so the salt sticks better.
