- 8 ounces dried flat rice phở noodles
- 12 ounces beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 whole lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Add vegetable oil to the pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add sliced beef and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
- Add soaked noodles to the pan along with the sauce mixture and toss gently.
- Return beef to the pan and stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Fold in shredded mozzarella and allow it to melt.
- Add bean sprouts, green onions, and cilantro, then toss briefly.
- Serve immediately with fresh lime wedges.
Notes
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Do not over soak the noodles.
- Add cheese at the end to keep it stretchy.
