Description

Cajun Shrimp-Stuffed Mushrooms with Cheese Pull are a flavorful appetizer featuring succulent shrimp seasoned with Cajun spices, stuffed into mushroom caps, and topped with gooey melted cheese for a satisfying bite.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 large mushroom caps, cleaned and stems removed
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté the shrimp in a hot pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked through, then chop into small pieces.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, green onions, lemon juice, and chopped shrimp. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stuff the mushroom caps with the shrimp and cheese mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving and enjoy your cheesy, flavorful stuffed mushrooms!

Notes

  • For an extra kick, you can add some chopped jalapeños to the stuffing mixture.
  • Make sure the shrimp are fully cooked before stuffing to ensure they stay juicy and tender.
  • These mushrooms are best served fresh out of the oven for the best cheese pull effect.
