Description

Ingredients

  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold alcohol (vodka, rum, or flavored liqueur), chilled before use
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, optional
  • Light coating cooking spray for molds

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Lightly grease silicone molds with a thin layer of cooking spray and set them on a flat tray for stability.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk the flavored gelatin, unflavored gelatin, and boiling water until completely dissolved and smooth.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly, about 5 minutes, so it is warm but not hot.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Stir in the chilled alcohol and optional sugar until fully combined and evenly mixed.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Carefully pour the mixture into prepared molds, filling each cavity evenly, then transfer to the refrigerator.
  6. Finishing Touches: Chill the molds for at least 2 hours, or until the candies are firm and set.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Pop the candies out of the molds, arrange on a chilled platter, and serve immediately.

Notes
