Description
A quick and flavorful Asian-inspired dish made with tender beef strips, ramen noodles, and stir-fried vegetables in a savory sauce.

- 2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, and cornstarch if using. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, stir-fry the garlic, broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked noodles, and pour the sauce over everything.
- Toss well to combine and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Top with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce salt content.
- You can substitute beef with chicken, tofu, or shrimp.
- For extra spice, add a teaspoon of sriracha or chili flakes.
