Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup mango, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by dicing the avocado, strawberries, and mango, then finely chop the red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberries, mango, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  3. Gently fold in the diced avocado to keep it from mashing.
  4. Drizzle with lime juice, sprinkle with salt, and add olive oil if using.
  5. Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  6. Chill for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors develop, then serve fresh with chips or grilled dishes.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm fruit to maintain texture.
  • Add lime juice right before serving to keep avocado fresh.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
