Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (like canola or avocado)
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 stalk green onion, finely sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with oil, cornstarch, and salt until fully coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray.
- Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the basket. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine gochujang, maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic powder. Heat for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a large bowl and toss with the warm sauce until coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy bites, let them sit for 2 minutes before tossing in sauce.
- You can adjust the spice level by reducing the gochujang.
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
